How to match Windows Disks to VMware Hard Disks

I figure I put this out here for anyone who needs to remove disks from a VM that have similar sizes:

 

  • In Windows Disk Management check the properties of the disk you would like to remove. In this case it is:
    • Location 160 = SCSI Bus Controller 0
    • Target ID 2 = SCSI ID 2
    • Combined the two previous info together it will read (0:2)

  • In the Virtual Machine properties look for (0:2)

From here you can now purge the disk 🙂
